Cookie Policy
Last updated September 20, 2026
TechDriven Tools uses very little in the way of cookies or storage. Advertising and analytics cookies only appear after you opt in on the consent banner — never for processing your files.
| What | Purpose | Where it's set |
|---|---|---|
localStorage: theme preference | Remembers your light/dark mode choice between visits | Your browser only |
localStorage: recent tools / favorites | Powers “recently used” and starred tools (including ⌘K) | Your browser only |
localStorage: tdt-cookie-consent | Stores whether you accepted optional analytics/ads or chose essential-only | Your browser only |
| Supabase session cookie | Keeps you signed in, only if you choose to sign in | Set by Supabase, only after you sign in |
XSRF-TOKEN / session cookie | Standard Laravel request security — not used for tracking | This server |
Optional analytics and ads
By default we do not load third-party analytics or ads. If the operator later enables analytics or ads, they will only load after an explicit accept on the consent banner. File contents are never sent to analytics or ad networks. See the Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so resets theme, favorites, recent tools, and consent — it doesn't affect any tool's processing, since that never depended on them in the first place.
See the Privacy Policy for the fuller picture of what does and doesn't happen with your data.
